You First, So Clients Can Thrive

At Horizon Online Therapy, we’re redefining what it means to work in mental health care. We believe that when therapists are supported, clients thrive. Our practice was built with clinician well-being in mind, emphasizing sustainable caseloads, autonomy, and a collaborative team culture.

We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve and value a workplace enriched by different cultures, identities, and lived experiences.

We strive to create an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from all backgrounds.

What Sets Us Apart

Manageable Caseloads

  • We intentionally prioritize quality of care over volume. Full-time therapists typically average approximately 20 client sessions per week, although individual caseloads may vary based on clinician availability, client demand, and desired schedule.

Our goal is to give clinicians the time and emotional capacity to be fully present with clients while maintaining a sustainable career.

Compensation

  • Estimated Annual Compensation: $80,000–$120,000, depending on experience and caseload.

  • Therapists are compensated per session, with per-session rates determined by experience. Actual annual earnings therefore vary based on both the clinician’s rate and number of sessions provided.

  • In addition:

√  Required meetings/Peer consultation are paid
√  Late cancellations and No-shows are compensated

True flexibility

  • Work from anywhere in Oregon and set a schedule that suits your life.
  • No evenings or weekends are required, though you may choose to schedule evening or weekend sessions if that fits your preferences.
